He Knew I Needed You
As I sit here and think of the one that I love
I know that God knew that I needed you
Of all the loves that could have been in my life
HE knew that I needed you
Oh how kind you are to me every day
Not once have I worried that you would stray
You are the one that HE sent to me
He knew that I needed you
When I am happy you are there to laugh with me
When I am sad you are there to cry with me
If I need help in any way you come running
Oh how precious you are as I think of my love
That carries me through each day given by God above
It isn't luck that I am so happy with you
Not by coincident that you came into my life
God's providence sent you into my world
I knew that you were meant for me when you spoke of HIM
He knew I needed you for the rest of my life
I am so thankful He chose me to be your wife
HE KNEW I NEEDED YOU !!
