Beatitudes for Married couples

I thought this would make a good post considering Valentine's Day is coming up soon.I thank God for a loving Christian husband <3

BEATITUDES FOR MARRIED COUPLES

Blessed are the husband and wife who continue to be affectionate, considerate and loving after the wedding bells have ceased ringing.

Blessed are the husband and wife who are as polite and courteous to one another as they are to their friends.

Blessed are they who have a sense of humor, for this attitude will be a handy shock absorber.

Blessed are married couples who abstain from alcoholic beverages. Their minds will be sharper, their attitude more caring, and their bodies more healthy.

Blessed are they who love their mates more than any other person in the world and who joyfully fulfill their marriage vow of a lifetime of fidelity and mutual helpfulness.

Blessed are they who remember to thank God for their food before they partake of it and who set aside time each day for the reading of the Holy Bible and prayer.

Blessed are they who attain parenthood, for children are a gift and heritage from the Lord.

Blessed are those mates who never speak angrily or loudly to each other and who make their home a place 'where seldom is heard a discouraging word.'

Blessed are the husband and wife who faithfully attend the worship services of the church for the advancement of Christ's kingdom.

Blessed are the husband and wife who can work out their problems of adjustment without interference of relatives.

Blessed are the couple who have a complete understanding about financial matters and who have worked out perfect partnership with all the resources under their control.

Blessed are the husband and wife who humbly dedicate their lives and their homes to Christ and who practice the teachings of Christ in their home by being unselfish, loyal and loving.

Good Morning Lisa,
Oh my goodness, I love the Beatitudes for the Married Couple. "THANK YOU" for sharing them with us. If you don't mind, could you email them to me when you have time? I would really appreciate it very much. Those would be so pretty painted or embroidered on a piece of cloth and then framed. I would love to do something like that, but I'm not crafty. Take care my friend and have a great day. "CONGRATULATION'S" to some very well deserved Awards from your previous post. You are most deserving of each one of them. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

I saw that you live in upstate South Carolina. I live in upstate too almost at the North Carolina border. How far away are you from Clover?

BTW, this is the first time I've visited your blog. It looks great and I enjoyed your posts. I'll be sure to bookmark this blog.

Thank you for posting this. It's a great reminder, and something I think all married couples should keep on their refrigerator!
God has blessed me immensely with my sweet husband, and I am very grateful, too.
