The Nativity Among The Oxen~

The Nativity Among the oxen.

Like an ox I'm slow I see a glory in the stable grow Which, with the ox's dullness might at length Give me an ox's strength. Among the asses stubborn I as they I see my Saviour where I looked for hay; So may my beast like folly learn at least The patience of a beast. Among the sheep I like a sheep have strayed I watch the manger where my Lord is laid;Oh that my baa-ing nature would win thence Some woolly innocence! C .S Lewis

Let us remember that the Christmas heart is a giving heart, a wide open heart that thinks of others first. The birth of the baby Jesus stands as the most significant event in all history, because it has meant the pouring into a sick world of the healing medicine of love which has transformed all manner of hearts for almost two thousand years... Underneath all the bulging bundles is this beating Christmas heart.

I don't want to make light of this beautiful post but I wanted to thank all of you who prayed about Holly's acceptance to Bob Jones. She got her letter of acceptance today. We are so thankful and proud. She has used the BJU curriculum (which is challenging) but she has worked hard. She will be in a Christian atmosphere at BJU and since we live so close she will be able to live at home :)
College is not cheap so please help us pray about the financial part. If it is the Lord's will for her to attend he will make a way.

The sun is shining and the sky is so blue here today. I hope your day is going good. Thanks for stopping by.Love and prayers. Lisa

Congratulations! Yes, BJU is difficult, but thorough. We use them every year for several subjects. Glad you've had success with it.
(and I knew you'd be a Doris, too. ;o)) We also had heavy frost, but I keep holding out for snow!
Love ya,
Karen
