We Shall Behold Him!

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

I just can't hardly sit still here in my chair as I'm typing, thinking of this Glorious event! We as Christians should really be getting excited about Our Lord coming back to calm his own.

I was standing in the very top row of the balcony last night at Jubilee looking over a packed church of God's people! Thinking how marvelous it was to be in the same place with so many Christians. What a great place to be when the Lord returns. I hope you are ready for His return!

The words to this song are so powerful. Just listen and think about! It Thrills my heart and soul.

WE SHALL BEHOLD HIM~

The sky shall unfold, preparing His entrance; The stars shall applaud Him with thunders of praise. The sweet light in His eyes shall enhance those a waiting,And we shall behold Him then face to face.
And we shall behold Him, we shall behold Him Face to face in all of His glory; And we shall behold Him, Yes, we shall behold Him Face to face, our Saviour and Lord.
The angels shall sound the shout of His coming,The sleeping shall rise from their slumbering place. And those who remain shall be changed in a moment,And we shall behold Him then face to face.
And we shall behold Him, we shall behold Him Face to face in all of His glory; And we shall behold Him, Yes, we shall behold Him Face to face, our Saviour and Lord.We shall behold Him, our Saviour and Lord.

Have a great weekend. Lisa

Lisa, this has been one of my favorite hymns/praise songs for many years. It brings me to tears every time I hear it.

What a beautiful post. Have a wonderful weekend.

Oh, I love that song too. I also like being in a room full of people worshipping the Lord. I would rather be doing that than anything I can think of.

Hey Lisa, yes it will be interesting when we all go together. Sometimes it is so hard to fathom it all. But Glory to God! Thank Him for the opportunity to spend eternity with Him.
