We are back! We had a wonderful safe trip. Thank you all for your prayers for traveling mercies.

I have lots of pictures but little time to post them. I have been doing laundry and getting groceries among other things. I hope everyone is doing great. I look forward to visiting your blogs soon.We had beautiful weather in Washington. It was a little chilly but sunny. The hotel we stayed in was right near Arlington Cemetery and the Pentagon. The view was more than spectacular. I sat by the window in AWE! You could see most all the popular monuments and the cemetery which goes on for miles. The planes were taking off every few minutes and in the distance you could see "Old Glory" flying. I didn't get this picture but hopefully the girl's did.

We have been to DC several times so we have visited most off the monuments and attraction's but we always go back to the Jefferson memorial because my husband likes it and he is very patriotic and loves historical places. We went back to the Roosevelt Memorial but I think it is prettier at night because of all the lights. We have toured the white house before and it is beautiful. I think this is one of favorite cities.

The cherry blossoms were beginning to bloom and that was a beautiful site along with all the other spring flowers. I hope you enjoy the pictures. God Bless. Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Glad you made it home safely and enjoyed your trip. You got some great pictures.

I went to DC to work for the government when I was 19. I love that city. I lived in and around it for 7 years. When I had children and my daughter was ready to start school we moved back to my small home town where it was safer. Really no place to raise kids but a beautiful place to visit! :O) I actually learned to drive there and got my license. I drove all over the city then but can't even imagine doing that now! LOL

I do miss seeing those cherry blossoms though! :O)

Love and Hugs,
Hope

Good Afternoon Lisa,
"WELCOME BACK HOME" from your vacation. It does sound like yall had a wonderful trip. I'm glad yall had some nice weather on your trip as well. The Sun didn't shine here at my house today. It's been raining off and on all day and more heavy rain is in the forecast for later tonight and tomorrow as well. I have never been to Washington D.C. before, but have always wanted to go. My MIL has been there once with one of her daughter's on a business trip. They got to go see alot of things there also. "THANK YOU" so much for sharing such beautiful pictures with us from your vacation. I am looking forward to seeing some more when you have time. Don't overwork yourself there and just do a little each day. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
