My sister Kim and I~The beautiful mountains of NC~

We had a great Saturday. the weather was nice and we were able to visit with my sister and my niece in Hendersonville, NC yesterday. My Mom and step Dad and two of their friends had went to the Studebaker's car show at the Hendersonville Holiday Inn. They go and spend the weekend every year. My sister lives about 40 mins aways and we live about 45 Minutes away so we decided to meet and I am so glad we did. We had a great time of family fellowship. We all went to the Lone Star steak house for supper. The food was good and the drive to and from was awesome. The NC mountains are all shades of lush green this time of year, just beautiful!

Well it's that time of year again! Back to school and I am ready. I know the girl's are as well. We enjoy the extra sleep but we all do better on a routine. I am looking forward to a great school year. This is my oldest Holly's senior year. Class of 2009~ I fell old I was the class of 1982~

I am very proud of both my girl's.I hope all your kids have a great school year.
Blessings,Lisa

What a beautiful drive!! Its great to visit with family on weekends when its possible. I sure enjoyed my brother and his wife coming down, along with my son and his wife this weekend. Its kinda sad when they all leave though.:( I hope you have a great school year. It will be an exciting one for Holly!

Glad you enjoyed your trip.
I love the NC mountains, too. Beautiful sight!

I pray your homeschool year goes well. We, too, have a senior... such a strange thought!

Enjoy your week!

p.s. Thank you for your prayers. I am feeling better. ;o)

Hi Lisa! Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

I remember well the anticipation of starting a new school year with my kids. Homeschooling was a wonderful experience for me and I always say "my kids succeeded in spite of me teaching them" LOL

Have a great school year and stop by anytime!
